The first and second Red Warlords were dead, Tarin's flag was lost, and the Northern Alliance's most outstanding strategist, Prince Eligor, disappeared without a trace. The unity of the black warlords and Toron, on the other hand, seems unshakable, and as the armies of the black flags cross the dwoon border, the fighting and intrigue from Eren to Sinemossa, from Alidar to Gro-Ugon, shake the order of the North.
The winners of the short story competition “Flames of the North: In the Shadow of Flags” were awarded to M.A.G.U.S. on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of role-playing, they pay homage to Wayne Chapman’s world-creating novel and, while preserving the classic values of the beginnings, enrich the history of the Fourteenth Flag War with new nuances.
