Of course, there were still worries and fears. Wulfgar left us here — I don’t know where he went — and I was afraid of his mind, heart, and body. But I accepted that he chose this path and that he left us for these three things — his mind, his heart, and his body. I pray that our paths will cross again to find our way home. I pray that we will receive news from him that will either dispel our fears or cause us to get up and find us.

I could be patient and convince myself that everything was fine as much as possible. If I contemplated the fears I felt for him all day, I would deny the purpose of my whole existence.

And I'm not going to do that.

There is too much beauty in the world for this.

Too many monsters and too many rogues.

And too much fun.
