Getting to Murgador is not easy.
On the west coast of the Quiron Sea, the remnants of the former Kyria road network merely flood: they meander gray and fragmented for hundreds of miles to lead the weary traveler to the edge of bottomless gorges, to the pillars of long-collapsed bridges. The passes of the mountains are guarded by purposeful thieves - most of them in the wages of the local powers. The landlords, without exception, gained their power in the ancient way, with blood and iron, and because they could not boast of heroic deeds, and with the splendor of their court, they would uselessly try to obscure the brilliance of the duchy beyond the mercenaries, Erigow, as a special pastime.
The Count of Murgador, also known as the seventh, held the title of Prince of Eccentrics with a raised head.
According to the bad tongues, he came up with this himself, as well as the other one that his handful of subordinates and many pribes mentioned more often: the Kobzos. He handled the instruments well, miracles were told about his velvety baritone. They whispered, in his novels the past times come to life, the youth of the world, the sky inhabited by the kyr deities, all the beauty and horrors created by the hands and will of the Great. And although there is no paved road to Murgador, and caravans only cross it occasionally to Doran, Tarin, or the Sirenar inhabited by elves, in the month of the Song, seniors, bards, singers come from all over to compete in noble competition with the famous-infamous Kobzos. They come year after year, though it is an open secret that the count almost never loses, and that there is an even longer and more dangerous path back from his castle to his homeland ...
