In the history of Krynn, the Order of the Knights of Solamnia was the most significant knightly institution. After receiving the title of Knight of the Crown, a knight had to begin training in the virtues of courage and heroism to gain admission to the Order of the Sword. This is the second story of Sir Pirvan, the Stubborn, who, at the start of his career with a pounding and ominous omen, would not have thought that he would be the Sword, or even the Knight of the Crown, or that he would play a key role in Krynn's largest uncertain future shaping.
