In the youth of the world surrounded by crystal spheres, a new race has entered the stage of history to show its power: that of humans. Its representatives were weak and fallen — yet they restrained the elements, built cities and walls, learned the tricks of spelling and magic, and, of course, worshiped the gods who found faithful servants in them.
Many said it was the happy golden age that lasted for millennia until it finally became nothing in the midst of blood and tears; for conquerors came from the sea, desiring to rule over the peoples of the North. The people of ancient cultures fought, fell, and eventually perished in the Csts; they say, because their gods have forsaken them. Though perhaps they too died, perished, as did the first empires, of which nothing but a few ominous memories survived, only the name: Cranta.
